If you identify with/ or have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality (BPD), borderline traits, or Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), I can imagine you have already been on quite a journey to get here. Over many years of working as a specialist with this population, and in my research, I have heard many stories of brave people trying to access the right support.

Many people looking for help say they felt different and struggled early on in life, and searching for help started for some with their doctors, in schools, with school counsellors, and public child and youth services. Many people I have worked with and researched felt misunderstood, invalidated, misdiagnosed. In my doctoral research I found that these stories were so common that I coined the term the help-seeking-invalidation-loop.

Not getting the right help- as early as possibly- I believe- increases NZ's high suicide rates. Did you know we have one of the highest suicide rates in the entire developed world? Many people are only diagnosed with BPD after a suicide attempt. Public waitlists for treatment can be very long, and in the private sector there are a lack of experts, and so specialists can also be unavailable or have very long wait lists.

My mission is to is to bridge the access to care gap, and help reduce and prevent suffering and risk for those who identify with borderline personality/ traits, and early and complex trauma. 

This is a significant piece of my life's work- I have invested years of my life (in research, trainings, clinical practice, and finances) to bring together a premium program where I can offer my expertise directly to you, in the best possible way. I have developed a life-changing program that includes a special blend of evidence based interventions, consumer input, and a touch of woo! (See more info in tabs)









I have just published a beautiful book, over 600 colourful pages, which is the heart of the program, exclusively for those enrolled in an Surviving Emotional Storms program. I am super excited to roll this out, and support you with your recovery!
