You might have seen me in the paper recently, been referred by your doctor, or stumbled onto my website. Let me introduce myself properly, I'm Dr Jenni Beckett, psychologist, and author of Surviving Emotional Storms. I specialise in helping women (15+) to regulate their emotions, to reduce overwhelm and impulsivity. I can help you build healthy, trusting relationships with yourself and others, increase your ability to manage distress, and to harness your super-power of sensitivity.

Who is it for?

This life-changing program is suitable for women either with borderline personality, C-PTSD, those who have experienced early trauma, or those wanting increased emotional resilience.

Point of Difference

This program is unique- there is nothing like it- and is based on years of my research and clinical experience; including consumer perspectives, alongside evidence-based strategies and tools. Surviving Emotional Storms teaches Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills (the gold standard treatment for borderline personality) -alongside attachment and trauma informed therapies, ACT and narrative therapies, group therapy and guided daily journaling.

What is included in my premium membership?

-The Surviving Emotional Storms book 

It's a 655 page full colour book of wellbeing, beautifully presented with cloth cover, and using wood free paper. The book combines storytelling, emotional regulation therapy, and guided expressive journaling over 13 months. Each of the 13 chapters starts with a novella about Mooj- who is lost at sea- in the sea of her emotions- as she journeys to the lighthouse. Members are invited to join Mooj as she navigates obstacles along her way.  Following each of Mooj's story segments, Dr Jen teaches readers a key set of skills that will help Mooj and readers of each part of the journey. Concluding each chapter are 31 days of prompted journaling pages, to help build and reflect on the skills for the month, and practice gratitude. Daily pages also have symbols to record water intake, glimmer moments, and values connected to each day. 

-The Set up for Success Mini Course

Starts February 1st 2026Kick-start your year with 5 days of daily bite-sized tutorials to set yourself up to reach your recovery goals and ensure the next 13 months are life-changing! On completion, weekly support each month over 13 months continues.

 

-Monthly Expansion Tutorial

Every month members have access to a new tutorial designed and delivered by Dr Jen. She will take you through the skills for the month, and expand on them for a deep dive to unpack the skills being focused on, and how to practice them. For best results have a notebook and your journal ready when you watch your tutorial, so that you can make notes that make sense to you. The tutorials are available all month to watch again if you would like to refresh or clarify skills.

-Monthly Meditation

Recovery can be difficult because our conscious minds might want to achieve therapy goals, however our sub-conscious is not always on-board. This is a recipe  for self-sabotage! We use a suite of tools to get the sub-conscious mind onboard, including a monthly bespoke meditation on each skill being learned, best used daily for the month. Your bespoke  meditations are carefully chosen, created or modified and are read by Dr Jen herself.

-Monthly Connect and Reflect Online Group

Connect with the other like-minded women doing the program, who understand the struggle, and who are recovery focused like you. Attendance is optional, and as we limit to 10 members, this will be your tribe over the duration of the program. Lead by myself, and consumer advocate/ wellbeing co-ordinator.

-End of Month Guided Journal Exercises/ Progress Summary

Support at the completion of each month to reflect on your progress and any obstacles. Building each months skill set to the next, and linking your learnings to your future self vision.

-Members Only Facebook Group

An opportunity for regular connection with your tribe. We will also do  live coaching spots. Members have an opportunity to ask questions, and wellbeing will be  focused on to increase members feelings of positivity,  and keeping on-track.

Flexibility Matters

Many DBT group courses teach skills weekly, over 2 hours. People with bpd/traits/trauma can already struggle with overwhelm; so to get to a course, interact socially, and learn intensive skills for 2 hours- moving on to a different skill topic each week can be a stressful and often an unsuccessful experience. There is not always time and the right opportunity to practice newly learned weekly skills before the next ones are taught, adding to overwhelm and overload! Furthermore, you may not live close to where DBT groups are held, you may be juggling work or study or childcare, or on medications that slow you down, you may have anxiety about going out, or find the public mental health facilities triggering.

Synergizing Therapies Matters

Research suggests that on completion of  traditional group therapy for BPD- that people often continue to struggle, especially with work and relationships. With the Premium Support Package- we set you up for success from the beginning, by taking into account for the program delivery mode  how our brains best learn, and how to turn what you learn in theory into every day supported practice. Additional therapies have been synergised with DBT, such as attachment and narrative therapies, to extend deeper relational and emotional support.
